Safety & Fun For All is our first priority

Signs should be limited & must be approved by the Norman Mardi Gras Society and deemed “Family Friendly.”

The number of entries that include vehicles will be limited by available space.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution and good judgment at all times.

All entries with motor vehicles, including those pulling floats, must have a minimum of 2 people walking on each side of the vehicle, between it and the sidewalk, helping keep spectators safe and out of the street.

Due to the nature & length of the route, we do not accept entries with horses.

All animals must be leashed, contained or otherwise fully controlled by their human partners.

No exotic or caged animals

No Leaflets or other paper “throws.” They just wind up as litter that we have to pick up.

Masks, Costumes and Lights are strongly encouraged.
